ABSTRACT

Lessons are an art and rely on the teacher's abilities and methods used in the classroom. Globalization has led to a great many developments in technology worldwide and has also been reflected in education. In order to overcome the obstacles of teaching and learning, the idea of virtual classrooms is one of the latest developments in education and instructors adapt to it. A virtual lesson is a collection of teaching and learning tools that are intended by different technology devices to enhance the learning experience of students. The primary aim of the research is to address the barriersobstacles among professors and the instructors, the methods and strategies for overcoming them and recognising the benefits of virtual classroom instruction.

1. INTRODUCTION

Education is a bi-polar process for Adams, where teacher and instructor are the two essential components. The art of teaching plays a significant part in the educational environment, and this relies on the teachers' abilities and methods used in and out of the classroom. The method for Burton stimulation, advice, assistance and encouragement given to students is described by Burton (S.S. Chauhan 2005). (S.S.Chauhan, 2005). To Mark K. Smith, education is a process that enables individuals and learners to address their needs, experiences and emotions in order to help them to learn anything. The procedure is formal and informal for exchanging information and expertise; it may be structured or not, but should be organised for efficiency. A short study of Indian educational history reveals that in ancient India the technique of teaching was founded on Shravan, Manana and Nidhyasana and that the Brahmines had the prerogative to be instructors. The necessity for teacher education was progressively recognised throughout the Buddhist period and the idea of teacher training came into existence. Though in India it was not very popular during the Muslim period, Teacher Training Institutions were set up after the Europeans had arrived in India. The teaching art and science have rapidly changed and have experienced enormous technological advances. The fundamental requirements for effective education are its concentration on substance or subject matter, appropriate technique and the art. Good education also helps to encourage students' creativity and curiosity and to deepen their understanding to answer problems. Furthermore, good education requires a deeper study by the instructors. Some of the main features of good education are the relevance of subjects or contents, the time allowed to teach the same, the active involvement of the students, their level of understanding and implementation, their regular feedback and finally a respectful environment between teachers and teachers. Unesco (2004) and Scheerens (2004) indicate the importance of the subject or content. Margaret Rouse's virtual classroom is an online learning environment (whatis. techtarget.com/ definition/virtual classroom) that may have a web-based access through a portal or software-base and a downloaded executable file. It enables participants to talk to one other and see their presentations to Justin Ferriman (12 December 2013). Unlimited learning, readily accessible, cheap, adaptable according to learner requirements and time is the primary features of a virtual classroom. At this point, virtual classrooms are essential because they convey messages quickly, save time, money and paper; they bring direct learning back into an e-learner course, since recording and re-attending are necessary. It promotes social learning, aids shared personal experiences such as classroom instruction and serves as a clinic, optimizes the network between industry and brings work into the classroom. A virtual classroom not only offers the students with learning material but also gives them with a living, contextual and interactive environment. In the conventional classroom, instructors may also influence the learning and teaching process (Yang & Liu, 2007). Technological advances have been utilised to spread remote training as a choice

materials (http://www.elearnportal.com/resources/gett ing-started/how-do-virtual-classrooms -work). Virtual classrooms nowadays are online environments with various characteristics of brick and mortar classes. A virtual environment of the classroom provides a human connection, a key ingredient in teaching the classroom, which is not available and which is greatly missed. Teachers engage in real time with students in a virtual classroom; students may speak their questions and interact with classmates same as in a normal classroom, even if they are online. Another advantage of virtual classrooms is that they can accommodate more students. Physical classrooms typically restrict the number of seats so students are able to sit comfortably and have enough of room. Virtual classrooms, by comparison, utilise virtual meeting solutions, which enable more students to join interested courses simultaneously. It makes participation rates better and higher and makes information more easier to obtain. Like brick and mortar classes, virtual classrooms may be synchronised as students and instructors simultaneously appear online to enable instant interactions. However, pre-recorded materials such as films, presentations and lecture slides are also used by virtual lessons to assist learning, as do the offline schools.

A virtual classroom includes the following features:

• Video conferencing: to enhance teacher and learner collaboration via the finest online conference software • Digital whiteboards: Providing demos and diagrams in real time • Instant messaging: allowing typed conversations on lower bandwidths • Participation controls: Enable students to engage in conversations, silence or "raise" their hands virtually • Sub-chats: Collaboration between students facilitates breakouts • Video recording: Save live lectures for later reference as video on demand Types of Virtual Classrooms That Are Learner-Friendly Depending on their usage, virtual classrooms may be modified. They may serve as an additional element in a class or constitute the backbone of a whole course; virtual lessons are either highly personalised.

• Enriched virtual type

In this kind, most courses are conducted online, save for a few offline components, which increase teachings and curricula. This includes face-to-face discussions with professors or collaborative conferences with other students on a key task or thesis.

• Rotation type

Used often as a component of the reverse teaching method, rotation includes utilising a rotation schedule, in both virtual and offline classrooms. In many instances, basic learning takes place online, but personal sessions take place for strengthening and examination.

• Fully online type

As the name implies, no face-to-face interactions are needed or permitted by a completely online classroom. These courses may be synchronous or asynchronous by using pre-recorded videos and a limited live interactivity through online conference software.

• Flexible type

The virtual classroom of this kind stays accessible and may be accessed by the students at anytime. Otherwise, small groups promote learning and the virtual classroom provides a location to return to when queries are asked.

• Mix-and-match type

As the name implies, this approach enables students to choose a way they may get maximal information in the best possible way. It combines digital education methods and may be managed by either students or institutions.

2. CHALLENGES FOR TEACHING IN VIRTUAL CLASSROOM

1. Internal, subjective and external/objectif difficulties in virtual learning may be the teacher's and taught's viewpoint. 1. Maybe it's preferable to first examine the internal Teachers' lack of enthusiasm in learning and adapting to different learning circumstances Some instructors have been found to lack enthusiasm and interest in learning new things since they frequently think ICT based instruction is exclusively for science stream pupils. Even if learned, instructors should frequently utilise these methods, else the retention of information may prove problematic. 2. There is an impediment in the use of ICT in the classroom, even when the skills are learned. Teachers are not happy to deliver it before the students/audience. 3. The age-old notion that instructors who cannot adapt to modern technology will use the age-old way of teaching with a chalk and speak method frequently reflect the efficacy of the. 4. The time it takes to prepare reading materials Teachers frequently feel that it is wasting time to prepare for virtual classrooms, particularly in the first phases. 5. Language grasp frequently functions as a virtual school barrier. A professor may be intellectually sound but may not talk to the pupils. The instructor's communication skills play a significant part here, since the students' interest in the virtual classroom is vital to support, so as to encourage them to engage with the teacher and with one other. 6. Difficulty producing content for the teaching medium (e.g., preparation of virtual teaching materials in vernaculars) after being used as a barrier. 7. Students' fear of improper locations (Tipton et al, 1998). 8. Students are unable of using virtual learning mode in order to plan studies. 9. The relationship between the instructor and teacher is not established because of the lack of face-to-face interaction.

Some challenge/ obstacles found among the students are –

1. Students' lack of understanding of the significance of virtual learning and its value. 2. Students' lack of enthusiasm and desire for learning. 4. A significant issue is the financial situation of the pupils. 5. Support for virtual class interest. 5. 6. Insufficient practise also leads in skills being forgotten. 7. It is a difficulty to have a language issue. The pupils' inability to comprehend and utilise English remains a problem for our country's students.

The external challenges are –

1. Lack of authority interest in the development/provision of the relevant infrastructure. 2. Failure to understand the advantages of virtual learning. 3. Failure to coordinate education and community institutions. 4. Do not provide expertise in certain subjects/courses as needed. It is important that you have an understanding of the pros / benefits of virtual learning in order to overcome the difficulties. They are – 1. There is no limit to virtual learning. 2. Virtual learning will preserve on-line study materials. 3. Savings money and time. Virtual education may be carried out anywhere an internet connection or resources are accessible. 4. Saves the time the instructor and the teacher will have to write. 5. Can save space and work because books do not have to be kept physically. 6. Helps to conveniently classify items for study. 7. Instructors and teachers are readily available (Jason, 2001). 8. Strengthens intellectual and social cooperation, cohesiveness and support for each other ( Husu, 2000).

By repeating the lessons centre concept on a virtual platform the penetrating quality of virtual reality adds great value to the instructional material. In contrast to the conventional system of class-centered education, virtual classroom learning is a well-conceived approach focused on technological instruction. The development of new technologies and the developing Internet make online learning substantially feasible. Let us know how virtual classes help inherently:

1. Delivers a More Customized Form of Learning

Fernsehen offers pupils the opportunity to study at their own speed and leisure. Virtual learning systems enable instructors to educate whenever and everywhere, irrespective of geological area. It is revived through virtual learning portals, which enable the start of online virtual lessons and lessons..

2. Bridges the Distance Constraint

The distant character of virtual classrooms operating on virtual learning platforms may be emphasised. Virtual learning in class enables students to accomplish their learning goals and to be secure at home. As the whole globe seizes the epidemic crisis, students and researchers in virtual classes are still socially detached.

3. Extends Diversity and Global Exposure

Virtual learning programmes, where everyone sheds their viewpoint, capturing the variety quotient, attract students all over the world's interest. Virtual courses may involve graded peer tasks, group projects and collaboration.

4. Is Easy To Access

You are always able to subscribe to the virtual learning platform. You have the opportunity to complete your course work at your own rate when you join up on the Virtual Learning Platform (the platform, college, school or university site). You may complete, grade and take part in discussions at your own discretion – the easy structure of the courses is one of the many advantages of virtual classrooms.

5. Is Cost-Effective

Virtual courses are a cheaper way of learning. It is an affordable method of learning that needs just functioning internet and service support. A smartphone, laptop or TV may be a gadget. study, eat, exercise or even cook. As the globe confronts a pandemic, virtual learning provides the student and instructor communities with convenience and flexibility.

7. Improves Learning Experiences Through Visualization

The virtual classroom learning experience provides the students with an enhanced learning experience. In addition to the visual aspect of virtual learning platforms, virtual courses provide instant feedback in a private box on tasks and exams. The use of mind charts, diagrams, presentations via PowerPoint and pictographs in virtual schools marks a topic in the minds of pupils, which helps them to remember more effectively.

8. Has a Wider Reach

In addition to offering amazing learning experiences, virtual learning has the benefits of providing learning solutions to a wide range of people.

9. Helps You Learn Latest Virtual Learning Technologies

Virtual learning offers a platform for improving your digital abilities, which extends beyond knowledge. Learning in a digital environment may provide you the abilities to engage with the virtual interface, notably in online testing, virtual courses, e-mail conversations, video preparation and presentation of documents.

10. Is Effective

In addition to the fact that virtual classrooms are an extensive learning tool, they are an excellent teaching method. The forms of virtual study made studying dynamic and convenient – by offering on-the-spot learning options. E-learning in terms of promoting multitasking, mental flexibility and retention of memory was known to be efficient. 11. Easy Access Through Devices Virtual classrooms are easily accessible since students just require a high speed internet connection and a computer, tablet or smartphone for the classroom. Now students just need to unlock their devices and connect to their classroomms instead of the everyday traffic problems to school through buses or carpools. Since online courses enable for lessons to be archived as well as the course to be recorded, the students are able to review the course at any time. In addition, the cloud stores all lessons. Therefore, for your virtual class, students are not bound to a particular place or device. Virtual schools offer students plenty of time to absorb, practise, study themselves and improve knowledge of the topic. Instead of always striving to keep pace with their classmates, they may learn at their speed. 13. Around The Clock Learning The instructors and lecturers may use virtual classroom solutions. This feature enables students to engage, resolve doubts or ask questions with their instructors at any time. However, it is a moment for all instructors to be comfortable. 14. Opportunity to Learn New Technology Vired solutions like Google Meet, Big BlueButton, Zoom, etc. provide students the chance to experience new digital tools and learn from them. One of the great benefits of online classes is the digital skill and ability pupils acquire, from making PowerPoint for tasks to researching internet. 15. Interaction With Friends And Peers Due to the tight lock-out and social separation regulations, a lot of pupils struggle with loneliness and isolation. These emotions may become more anxious and depressed if left uncontrolled. Students may connect with friends and colleagues through virtual courses. In an online environment, connection and fellowship are now continued. 16. Can be Personalized The material may be customised in the virtual classroom to suit students' learning needs and methods. Visual learners may, for example, be steered towards video learning. Students may personalise how they absorb courses from online audio books to many additional customization options. This increases and boosts learning results. 17. Improved Attendance As the kids don't have to go to class anymore, the attendance of students is significantly improved. Participation and engagement in the class are significantly improved as many timid students feel more secure in engaging with instructors. monitor. Data from each student, including attendance records, test scores and test outcomes, are kept online in virtual classrooms. This makes it easy for instructors to monitor and comprehend their curve of learning. It lets instructors design online courses in accordance with students' learning patterns and learning requirements. 19. Fun And Exciting Above all, online virtual courses are enjoyable and stimulating for students. Today's generation is expert in digital technology and knows different gadgets at a young age well. This makes it simple and pleasant for them to adjust to online courses. It disrupts conventional learning's monotony. Furthermore, even the most boring theme is entertaining and interesting for pupils with a variety of tools.

4. CONCLUSION

The proper use of electronic devices in teaching and learning environments may eventually influence the success of the virtual classroom in education status. A key point as one of the major features of the virtual classroom is to pay attention to pedagogic and educational matters. The research has shown that in the virtual classroom there are so many barriers. In virtual schools, there are numerous benefits. If the knowledge of teaching and learning efficiency is further evaluated, improved and thus accumulated in an online environment, it is our goal that teachers and learners will become more aware and will benefit from learning. This is why everyone will profit from the new teaching mode.
