ABSTRACT

This research study provides a vivid insight about the contribution of legendary Mr. YogeshwarDutt as a Coach in the game of wrestling. The study was conducted with a help of a self-made questionnaire which consists of 18 questions measuring the extent to which Mr. YogeshwarDutt contributed as a coach. The replies to the statements were organized and categorized in such a way that allowed for all of the questions to be assessed using the Likert scale. Strongly agreed, agreed, disagreed and strongly disagreed were the replies given for each of the items. After doing the analysis, we can determine that the average score obtained via the completion of a questionnaire provides a measurement of the degree to which Mr. YogeshwarDutt is accountable for paving the way for Indian sports wrestling as an enthusiastic Coach. The aforementioned questionnaire consists of 18 items, which indicate the degree to which Mr. YogeshwarDutt contributed as a coach. This means that the scores from the descriptive statistics reveal that 48 percent of the respondents selected to agree and 49 percent showed strongly agreed. As a result of this, it is not hard to conclude that Mr. YogeshwarDutt was an outstanding coach and the very definition of a sports legend.

INTRODUCTION

The case study is an in-depth examination and report on the current state of a certain individual topic (course), institution, playground, town or city that is conducted with the goal of identifying ways in which the current state of the case under research might be improved. The goal was to get an accurate understanding of particular areas of weakness and strength, with the ultimate goal being the implementation of adjustments or improvements that are desired. To put it alternative way, the goal is to get understanding of the significant portion that plays a role in the life cycle of a person, an institution, a social group or a community. Case studies are a kind of diagnostic research. It offers an in-depth study as well as the interplay between the components that explain the current condition as well as change or development. When it comes to establishing the reality of the topic, it is a vital qualitative strategy to take. The status of "case" to be investigated in some way is unusual in the sense that its contribution to the area is exceptionally big. This means that the status is to be researched in some manner.

The results and conclusions of the case studies are also distinctive, which is why it is appropriately referred to as "The social microscope." The case studies are meant to be in-depth investigations on the normal progression of a unit's growth. It might be a single establishment, club or collection of community

members throughout the course of some time.The case study method is often intended for the purpose of satisfying practical demands rather than the scientific curiosity of investigation. It is used with the purpose of determining whether or not there are anomalies or flaws. Case studies are becoming increasingly popular in clinical psychology and cognitive science. These studies focus on individuals who are exceptional in their fields, such as scientists and artists, as well as athletes who stand out for their achievements and possess extraordinary traits of personality. This piece of research speaks about the legendary wrestler of Bharat Mr. YogeshwarDutt as coach.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

The methodology of the study consists Research Design, Data Collection, Statistical Techniques and the technique employed for analysis of data.

RESEARCH DESIGN

To investigate the YogeshwarDutt personality as a wrestling coach, a case study was designed in which historical biographical, analytical and interpretive techniques will utilize.

It is observed that Major Dhyan Chand Khel RatnaAwardeeYogeshwarDutt great knowledge of wrestling as 50% respondents strongly agreed with this view, 50% agreed for this. 32% respondents strongly agreed, 65% agreed and 3% disagreed that he was very good at picking talent. 44% respondents strongly agreed, 56% agreed that Major Dhyan Chand Khel RatnaAwardeeYogeshwarDutt coaching was very scientific. He always inspired players by giving examples of great sporting personalities as 25% respondents strongly agreed and 68% agreed and 7% disagree with him. He always welcomes all good suggestions, 34% respondents strongly agreed and 66% agreed with this. 28% people strongly agreed, 65% agreed and 7% disagreed that his approach to sports is most advanced. He is a committed professional as a wrestling coach, 22% people strongly agreed and 57% agreed and 21% disagree with it. He treated all trainees equally and never showed favor towards few players as 76% respondents strongly agreed with this view, 24 % agreed. Major Dhyan Chand Khel RatnaAwardeeYogeshwarDutt used to encourage trainees for mutual discussion as 69% people strongly agreed with this view, 31% agreed with this point. His coaching was interesting as well as inspiring as 57% respondents strongly agreed with this view, 43% agreed with this point. He was very good in providing motivation as23% people strongly agreed with this view, 69% agreed and 8% disagreed. 51% respondents strongly agreed that he always appreciate new ideas, 39% agreed and 10% disagreed with it. Major Dhyan Chand Khel RatnaAwardeeYogeshwarDutt was very sincere in his efforts as 82% people strongly agreed with this view, 18% agreed with it. 44% respondents strongly agreed with this view and 52% agreed and 4% disagree that he does things in well planned manner

The Research Scholar would like to suggest the following recommendations on the basis of the results of the research, which are as follows: the hereditary components and how those factors impact his performance. 2. It is possible to do a comparison research that includes the person who is the focus of the investigation as well as other hockey players competing at the national and international levels.
