ABSTRACT
The historical backdrop of Indian English novel can be particularly adjusted to the coming and preeminent rule of the British Raj upon India, resting for a decent 200 years. Hilary Mantel was born in Glossop, Derbyshire, England on 6 July 1952. She considered Law at the London School of Economics and Sheffield University. 2. REVIEW OF LITERATURES
