1) Medical Students: Medical students who are seeking after medical course in degree. Medical students need to confront solid rivalry as they are relied upon to be effective in their career. The following tools were used to measure the Suicidal ideation among Medical students. 1) Semi structure interview schedule to obtain the demographic details. 2) Suicidal ideation scale by Devendra Singh Sisodia and Vibhuti Bhatnagar (2011)

The Purposive Sampling technique was used to select the sample. On the whole, a total of 60 students were chosen as the sample. Among them 30 Male and 30 female Medical Students. The age group of the sample was between 18-23.

The adolescents matured between 18-23 years were chosen as members for the present examination. The Semi-Structured Interview Schedule were managed to acquire the required statistic subtle elements of the example. The subjects were likewise screened keeping in see the consideration and prohibition criteria. Compatibility was set up with the subjects previously the organization of the tests. Accordingly, the Suicidal ideation scale which comprises of 25 questions was regulated to them with fitting directions. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Sample was restricted to Bangalore city only. 1. The study may be extended to other cities 2. Other streams of Professional courses such as engineering, Architecture. Law and so on can be included in the future research to draw a more comprehensive picture.
