Oral communication in the English language plays a crucial role in interpersonal, academic, and professional contexts. This study explores the theoretical underpinnings of oral communication, its various forms, and its significance in different domains. This study deals with theoretical framework of forms of oral communication. It focuses on the origin, features and characteristics of these selected new changing forms of oral communication. There are various new changing forms of oral communication but the present chapter discusses about some selected forms like, Telephonic communication, Mobile communication, Online Face to face communication (Skype) and Video and Teleconferencing etc.
