ABSTRACT

Synchronization is a way of easing the handling of webbased operating systems based mobile phones or other applications like phonebook contacts, calendar events, e-mails, and other such personal data. It alsointroduces a possibility for the users to back up data, by synchronizinginformation to a remote server. Some algorithms are only capable of fetchinginformation from one or more sources and save it on the local device. Synchronizationalgorithms do, in addition to fetching information, also have the capabilitiesof pushing local changes back to the original source and have information onall clients being automatically updated.
