Before we begin our study in R.P. Jhabvala’sfiction, let us differentiate between two literary terms, often referred to asAnglo-Indian and Indo-Anglian literature. Anglo Indian literature comprises thesolid mass of writing, exemplifying the colonial discourse from the British pointof view.
