ABSTRACT:

A system of indirect taxes called the Goods and Services Tax is imposed on the consumption of products and services. It has established a dual system that the central and the states would implement simultaneously. This study's main goal is to bring India's tax structure closer to uniformity by implementing the GST. GST stands for One Nation, One Tax, One Market. It tries to examine how the Goods and Services Tax affects the average person. This research discovered that additional awareness campaigns and commercials may be supported to help the average person understand the GST proposal.
