The paper explores Henry David Thoreau’s ‘Civil Disobedience’ and elaborates his emphasis on the role and relation of individuals in dealing with the affairs of the state. His principle of ‘Civil Disobedience’ has inspired generations of leaders to raise their voices against colonialism and unjust governments across the globe.
