Abstract

The relationship between the two Asian powers, as well as the rest of the world, has beenrapidly evolving. Over the years, both countries have seen their fair share of ups and downs. These twoAsian behemoths have piqued the interest of worldwide corporate executives, who are taking a new lookat the two countries' quickly expanding potential. The rapid growth of India-China goods trade, which hasalready surpassed US 42 billion in 2009–2010, is a clear indicator of the two countries' currentrelationship. China has surpassed the United Arab Emirates as India's second-largest trading partner. Asa result, some technologically advanced items must be included to the export basket to China. Therecent rapid rise in bilateral trade is one of the biggest occurrences in international commerce andeconomics. India has risen to become one of China's top 10 trading partners, whereas China has risen tobecome one of India's top three trading partners. Because of the vast size and mix of economies andexports, as well as strong growth rates and political will on both sides, bilateral trade will continue todevelop and have a substantial influence on global commerce and economy
