Abstract

The study also examines the role of men in feminism in the post-freedom era. It discusses howmale writers have contributed to the feminist discourse in English literature and how their works havebeen received by feminist critics. The study analyzes the works of prominent male writers such as D.H.Lawrence, James Joyce, and Samuel Beckett and how they have contributed to the feminist discourse intheir own way. The study also examines the impact of feminism on literary theory in the post-freedom era.It discusses how feminist theory has influenced literary criticism and how feminist critics have analyzedworks of literature through a feminist lens. The study analyzes the works of prominent feminist criticssuch as Elaine Showalter, Sandra Gilbert, and Susan Gubar and how they have contributed to feministliterary criticism.
