Abstract

The prospect of improved communication system security, transparency, & efficiency through the combination of blockchain technology & IoT has attracted a lot of attention. In order to tackle the ever-changing problems with data integrity, privacy, & trust in the IoT ecosystem, this study thoroughly examines an intelligent communication system that is built on the IoT and uses blockchain technology. This research delves into the ways in which blockchain's core feature, smart contracts, can automate & enforce secure communication protocols, protecting the authenticity of data transmitted between Internet of Things devices. The paper's stated goal is to provide readers with an understanding of Blockchain's architecture & operation; furthermore, the research examines how this invention contributes to the attainment of security in the IoT. Research shows that compared to an IoT framework that doesn't use blockchain technology, one that does offer a far higher degree of security.
