Abstract

Tagore composed numerous books and expositions on philosophy, literature, religion, education, and social points just about two dozen plays and play lets. Of the two hundred short stories which Tagore expounded on twenty are pearls of the most perfect assortment. Tagore's books manage social issues of a principal nature – the woeful states of Hindu widows and the rise of new kind of lady in mission of self-fulfillment. Tagore’s books in general recommend a rising example trying to include his vision of Indian reality and his adumbration of thoughts regarding the idea of Indian society and culture made up for lost time in the hypotheses of radical change.
