Abstract

This is an attempt to measure the differential in the growth rate of the population of Jharkhand at districts level. For this, population growth rates of two-time period have been taking likewise 2001 and 2011. The average growth rate was in 2001 and in 2011. There is a huge differential in population growth rates at districts level. Population growth rates are maximum in the district while the lowest in the district. To measure the spatial differences in growth rates pattern standard deviation method has been used.
