Optimization of Artificial Neural Networks Algorithms: Exploring the Optimization Techniques for Artificial Neural Networks

Abstract

In this paper we describes some artificial neural network (ANN) neuromodeling algorithms used in association with powerful optimization tools, suchas natural optimization algorithms and wavelet transforms, which can be used ina variety of applications in Engineering. Genetic,particle swarm and ant colonytechniques are currently the most widely used optimization techniques for neuralnetworks; these techniques are severely limited in their ability to find globalsolutions.
