Abstract

This paper describes workin progress regarding personalized heart monitoring using smart phones. Ourresearch combines ubiquitous computing with mobile health technology. We willuse wireless sensors and smart phones to monitor the well-being of high riskcardiac patients. The smart phone analysis in real-time the ECG data anddetermines whether the person needs external help. Depending on the situationthe smart phone can automatically alert reassigned caregivers or call theambulance.
