Exploring the process of element creation in stars

Abstract

Stellar nucleon synthesis is the collective term forthe nuclear reactions taking place in stars to build the nuclei of the elementsheavier than hydrogen. Some small quantity of these reactions also occurs onthe stellar surface under various circumstances. For the creation of elements duringthe explosion of a star, the term supernova nucleon synthesis is used.
