Exploring the Future of Operating Systems on Cloud Platforms

Abstract

In last 50 year of computing we haveprogressed from using mainframes to minicomputers to personal computers tolaptops and different operating systems on that platforms, most recently, theuse of cloud OS based computers have been started. In the past, new operatingsystems have been written for each new class of computer hardware to facilitateresource allocation, manage devices, and take advantage of the hardware’s increasedcomputational capacity. The newest classes of cloud computers will provide avirtual operating system that need not to install like old operating systemswhich make advantage of the increased computational capacity and to simplifyuser’s access to software and hardware resources using web browser . Presentpaper is a introductory survey about such types of new operating systems .
