Performance Comparison of Algorithms in Different Programming Languages

Abstract

Thisdocument compares the performance of various algorithms across variousprogramming languages, namely, C, C++, Java and C# (C-Sharp). Using standardalgorithms implemented in each language, we will compare the performance of theresulting executables from each language. Because the C# language only compilesand runs on Windows based operating systems, all performance tests will be runon a Windows Server 2003 based system.
