Understanding the security challenges of artificial neural network based face recognition systems

Abstract

Facial recognition technology isgrowing rapidly and at the same time interest in face recognition systems isincreasing constantly. Face recognition systems are the computer-based securitysystem which helps to identify the specified individuals by using thesurveillance cameras. Face recognition systems use complex algorithms tocompare the faces which were observed by the camera with the database ofindividual photographs. This paper discusses about the artificial neuralnetwork based face recognition systems and its security issues and threats.
