A Framework for Analyzing Creep Behavior of FGM Cylinder with Residual Stress

Abstract

The  study  reported in  this  paper puts  forward  a framework  for  the analysis of steady state creep behaviourof a thick-walled cylinder made of FGM in the presence of thermal residualstress. The problem undertaken has significant practical importance. In orderto describe yielding of FGM in the presence of thermal residual stress, theHoffman‟s yield criterion is used.
