Abstract

Geopolymer is a type ofamorphous alumino-silicate cementations material. Geopolymer can be synthesizedby polycondensation reaction of geopolymeric precursor, and alkalipolysilicates. Comparing to Portland cement, the production of Geopolymer has arelative higher strength, excellent volume stability, better durability.Geopolymer concrete based on pozzolana is a new material that does not need thepresence of Portland cement as a binder.
