Abstract

GibberellicAcid (GA) at 15 µM concentration retarded the loss of pigments, proteins,electron transport activities under dark incubation at 25ºC for 24-96 hr. Therestoration of whole chain electron transport (WCE) activity by GA was closelyassociated with the restoration of photosystem II (PS II) activity compared tothat of  photosystem (PS I).
