Abstract

Field-programmable gate arraysare ideal for adaptive systems, since they are reconfigurable and can beprogrammed to implement any digital logic. Applications of such FPGA-basedadaptive systems include face image recognition, on-line failure recovery, andanalysis of firefly synchronization.
