Abstract
Aseries of substituted piperazine derivatives have been synthesized and testedfor antibacterial activity. The antibacterial activity was tested againstGram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria strains like B. subtilis, B. pumillis, E. coli, and P. aeruginosa. These entire compounds have been characterized bytheir IR and 1H NMR spectral data. All synthesized compounds showed significantactivity against bacterial strains. The biological screening showed that thecompounds Vc, Vd and Ve are the most active ones showing an interestingantibacterial activity.
