Abstract

A meso-2,6-dichlorophenyl pentapyrrinwas prepared using a modified method for dipyrrane synthesis followed by simpleDDQ oxidation. The completely joined structures formed via redoxinter-conversions were studied using crystallographic as well as observed andcalculated spectral data.
