Abstract

This review article presents a comprehensive investigation of nanocomposites for efficientphotocatalytic applications. The study focuses on the synthesis and characterization of nanocompositematerials comprising semiconductor nanoparticles and a matrix material. The nanocomposites exhibitenhanced photocatalytic activity due to synergistic effects. The structural, morphological, and opticalproperties of the nanocomposites are characterized using advanced analytical techniques. Thephotocatalytic performance of the nanocomposites is evaluated using model contaminants undersimulated solar irradiation. The study investigates the influence of various parameters on photocatalyticactivity and contributes to the development of advanced nanocomposites for sustainable energy andenvironmental remediation applications.
