Few studies have specifically examined the relationship between salary, benefits, andcontentment in the workplace in hospitals throughout the nation. The effectiveness of incentives in luringand keeping elite talent was investigated using quantitative research methods. Managers will need toprovide dramatically different skills and career possibilities to attract and retain a new generation ofprofessors in higher education institutions.
