Abstract

This comprehensive study delves into the Indian banking system with a specific focus on urbancooperative banks. It offers a detailed examination of the structure, operations, and challenges facing thesebanks within the broader financial landscape of India. Through a combination of data analysis, regulatoryinsights, and case studies, the research explores the historical evolution, governance frameworks, andfinancial performance of urban cooperative banks.
