Exploring and Analyzing Critical Issues in ERP Implementation in Indian SMEs

Abstract

This paper attempts to explore and identify issuesaffecting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation in Indian enterprisesin India.  This paper attempts tohighlight those critical issues which need the most thinking and planning.Analysis has been done on the published literature available in the librariesand online.  The comparative analysisamongst the identified issues in the Indian enterprises  three issues are observed as crucial as  proper system implementation strategy,clearly de3fined goals and scope, customization of the system.
