Abstract

In this paper we presentabout the financial health of banks is reflected by their operationalefficiency. Among other factors, Non-performing Assets (NPA) in the loanportfolio affects the operational efficiency which in turn influencesprofitability, liquidity and solvency position of banks. They have to maintainand increase viability by generation of more products in order to meet capitaladequacy norms.
