Abstract

Cryptography Next Generation is an encryption ApplicationProgram Interface (API) which has been found out by Microsoft, in order toreplace CryptoAPI in order to enable developers to add encoding, encryption andauthentication to the windows based application that they develop. CryptographyNext Generation supports several algorithms in order to offer security to itsusers. This paper studies in detail the various algorithms supported by CNG ofWindows Vista.
