Abstract

The performance of ECDM, in terms of material removal rate and rate of machining, is affected by many factors. Relationship between these factors and machining performance are highly non- linear and complex in nature. Therefore it is very difficult to develop a relationship between these factors and the machining performance with conventional mathematical modeling. Electrolyte solutions are one of the major parameters that have to be considered for determining the effectiveness of ECDM process.
