Abstract

The cost of disasters has significantly increased over the past few decades, including in India.Therefore, more strategic and organized efforts are required at the global and national levels in order todecrease vulnerabilities and risks of hazards. It is important to remember that any discussion ofenvironmental catastrophes must place people's lives at its center. The severity of environmentaldisasters and the amount of money lost by societies are directly correlated. This essay examinesdisaster management.
