Abstract

A system of indirect taxes called the Goods and Services Tax is imposed on the consumptionof products and services. It has established a dual system that the central and the states wouldimplement simultaneously. This study's main goal is to bring India's tax structure closer to uniformity byimplementing the GST. GST stands for One Nation, One Tax, One Market. It tries to examine how theGoods and Services Tax affects the average person. This research discovered that additional awarenesscampaigns and commercials may be supported to help the average person understand the GSTproposal.
