Diversities of depression and social anxiety are also measured according to the emotional intelligence rating. The findings show a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being. Similarly, it is reported that there is a negative association between emotional intelligence and depression and cognitive awareness and social anxiety. These findings align with other related teenage research.
