Physical Education and Sports in the Modern Era: Trends, Problems, and Challenges
Abstract
This paper set out to catalog the state of physical education and sports now in an effort to foresee and prevent potential issues. For a very long time, Physical Education has been a part of the school curriculum. It has recently risen to the status of one of India's most important academic disciplines. There has never been a time when the value of PE has been more heavily touted. Everyone agrees that sports and physical education (PE) are crucial in combating the global epidemic of obesity and encouraging people to lead more active lives. There are less possibilities for children and teens to be physically active, even though physical education is taught in schools in most nations. Healthy active living, public health, and preventive medicine leaders have lately been interested in the interactions between different movement-related behaviors, such as sleep, sedentary behavior, and physical activity of all intensities, which make up the entire day (24-hour period).
