Abstract

The purpose of thestudy was to compare the Kicking and dribbling performance between offensiveand defensive players in soccer.    Sixtysubjects for this study were selected from. The purpose of the study was tocompare the kicking and defensive players in soccer. Sixty subjects for thisstudy were selected from Alagappa University football players, and divided intotwo as offensive and defensive players according to their position. Data wascollected from each subject on selected variables. The collected data wasstatistically analyzed by using independent ‘t’ test. It was found that therewas significant difference between offensive and defensive players on dribblingand kicking performance. However, the kicking ability of defensive players wasfound to be better than offensive players and   Dribbling ability of offensive players was found to be better thandefensive players in football.
