Comparison of Sports Facilities and Physical Education Programme In Different Sectors of School In Patiala: A Comparative Study on Sports Facilities and Physical Education Programmes in Patiala Schools

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find outthe availability of better sports facility and physical education programmes bythe different sectors of school of Patiala and their achievements. Data wereobtained from 286 public and government schools students. Those were assigned onrandom bases.  The results show thatcalculated Chi-Square (χ2) =1837.06 value is greater than tabulated Chi-Square(χ2) = 40.113 value at 0.05 level of significant. It means there is significance differencebetween available sports facility and programme of government school and publicschool.
