The Struggle and Success of the Inter-University Board: Analysis of the 1940-41 Tournaments

Abstract

The first Inter-University Tournament was organized in 1940-41 that was started with men’s tournaments only. Athletics, Hockey and Tennis were the games in which the tournaments were organized. Punjab, Allahabad and Patna were the champion of those tournaments. Here, the investigators will discuss about the struggle of Inter-University Board to organize Inter-University Tournaments. This paper also analysis the tournaments organized in the first year i.e. 1940-41.
